The Wedge has alot of history here in Az. Many top rippers have come from here. It's an overpass that runs over a public park, that has a drainage bank to direct overfilling water back into the lake. It's never filled with water, and it offers sweet shade during those hot summer days. The rails pictured here were some of the first rails I've ever grinded. To see guys like Brandan Turner (pictured here) kill these rails really brings back some heavy memories.
They've added a really crappy skatepark since we were kids, but it is good to see that the younger generation is still attacking this spot as hard as we did in the eighties. Some spots are absolutely timeless!
